Here at Craft & Tap supporting local businesses and causes is really important to us. Whether that be fundraising to help the local community or supporting our customers charity projects, we love to get involved!

Elland Public Defibrillator
In August 2021 a defibrillator was installed in Elland Town Centre (just outside Craft and Tap), bought through joint fundraising by Elland Round Table and Elland Craft and Tap. We are proud to support local causes and continue to support the Round Table however we can.

Prostate cancer fundraiser
Most of our customers will know Dave - he's our quizmaster and you usually can't miss him if he's in the pub. Dave and his dog poppy are walked the Pennine Way to raise money for Prostate cancer so we thought we'd support their efforts with raising some money for them. ​
Charity Raffle
In support of Dave's walk we held a raffle in the pub with over 35 prizes! We sold around 1000 tickets and had a great afternoon drawing the winners!​
Daves Big Quiz
We hosted an extra special quiz night in support of Prostate Cancer just before Dave set off on his walk. We raised an incredible £330, a massive thank you to all who came down to support.
It was a fantastic night!​
The Grand Total
Thanks to our amazing customers and staff, we raised a phenomenal ​£2400 for Prostate cancer. We want to say a massive thank you to all our customers for their incredible generosity in our fundraising endeavours!
Forget me not children's hospice
We've filled our bookshelves in the front room upstairs with books donated by our customers. There's something up there for everyone!
All books are on sale for a 50p donation to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.

In August we'd raised £117 by selling our books for Forget Me Not so far!

Supporting the Royal British Legion and causes in the community
We are proud supporters of the Royal British Legion. You can always find a collection box on the bar with regular updates on money raised; and plenty of poppies on sale in November.
​
We also take great pride in supporting causes that are important to our customers in whatever way we can, whether that be hosting a charity craft fayre or putting sponsorship forms on the bar.
Remembrance wall
To the left of our bar you'll find our remembrance wall and it's a really special part of our pub. The wall is in honour of servicemen and women who bravely served in the forces. Each plaque proudly shows the regiment that a customer has served in. It's always growing with the addition of new plaques!
